10 fresh cranberries (do not use frozen) 1 tablespoon almond oil 1 teaspoon honey 1 teaspoon petroleum jelly
Combine the above ingredients and microwave on high until the mixture boils (about 2 minutes). Mash the berries and mix well. Let cool for about 10 minutes. Strain the mixture to remove the the pieces of cranberry. Stir and allow to cool completely. Store in a clean, dry container!
Vanilla Lip Gloss
1 Tablespoon Petroleum Jelly 1 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel 1 1/2 teaspoons Coconut Oil 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
Heat ingredients together in a double-boiler and pour into jars. Cool and seal.
Put 1/2 oz. beeswax and 4 tbs. olive oil in a double boiler along with a drop or two of essential oil or a glob of some lipstick and melt it. Then pour it into some nice container.
Very Berry Lip Gloss
Smash 1 cup of berries into a fine paste, working 1 teaspoon at a time. If using berries with seeds, strain through cheesecloth. Use a liquid dropper to add aloe-vera gel, mixing in more berries and more gel until you have the desired texture and consistency. For other colours, mix different berries or add food colouring.
Chocolate Lip Gloss 2
In a microwave safe dish, combine 3 tbsp. cocoa butter, 4/5 chocolate chips and the oil from l small capsule of vitamin E. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave another 30 seconds and stir again. Continue microwaving at 30 second intervals, if necessary, to melt the chocolate chips. Blend ingredients with a spoon until smooth. Put in a small container and refrigerate until fairly solid. Use on lips.
